The 18" is from wild, per my experience...it's difficult to grow up to 16" when keep in tank.

Sweet! I've always wondered about their size. Anne put in the Primer that they grow 30"+, but other sources say 11"-13" Good to finally know that they are on the bigger side.

They are actually the second biggest at 38".
