See and this is what I think us on the US side of things needs to adopt. Usually if you ask people what a WC Hybrid is called, they'll call it a Dabola, when the term sp. Dabola only specifies where it is caught. Where as Lapen describes what the species is alleged to be. So you can have a WC Lapen caught in Dabola, or somewhere else. However you begin to get confusion when you have the CB lapxend which is supposedly the same fish, but different quality.
Damn that is one ugly poly
Dabble and tinkinso are the same fish im thinking
Lolz, just saw it and i never seen an albino endli.Polyaddict86 , NEVER post pics of that thing again! lol
So what most people think over here is that sp. Dabola means a hybrid when in actuality it just means an undescribed fish labeled by the area it was caught. Where as Lapen distinguishes a specific fish that can be caught in any area. So the undescribed fish caught in dabola could very well be a Lapen, but since we don't know it remains undescribed, hence an absence of anything before "sp. Dabola"I really wish we could get a clear picture on the different species/locations
So sp. Dabola and lapen are probably the same thing ?
You ever notice a difference on the faranah and dabola endlis ?
