Polypterus for 180G

So, I'm getting a 180 gallon pretty soon here and I have no Idea what I'm putting in it, but I know I want some Poly's for sure!

So I'm wondering, what Poly's could got in a 180, and how many? I was thinking about two platinum Senegals, as they are stunning! Or possibly one platinum and one ornate?

Any suggestions would be great, as I'm a really newb on Poly's.

I thought so too. But unfortuneatly space is the issue and there is no longer room for the 375 that I was planning to build. I was devastated, I even had thoughts of quitting the hobby, but I found out I do infact have room for a 180G.

I would like to put a Jardini in the 180, but then I really cant have any other fish.

So, would two Platinum senegal be alright in a 180G? (6'x2'x2')

And would it be crazy if I did infact put them with a Jardini?

lol, you could have 10 platinum senegals in there if you'd like.

for your lower part i'd say 3 smaller species of bichir and 2 bigger species, then that still leaves a lot of stocking room for stuff in the top and middle.

what i'd recommend because i'm just that way, is:

1 palmas buettikoferi
1 platinum senegal
1 palmas palmas

1 lap
1 ornate

not only that but you would need a wider tank eventually a lap might out grow your tank id say get an ornate a platinum senegal weksii and a few more polys if you wanted and you would still have some room left

I'm trying to figure out some top/mid level fish now. Its hard! Why do Jardinis have to be such bastards?
