If they're selling sens for $10, go back and get a refund. If they refuse just tell them you'll report them for fraud (you can do that through the Better Business Bureau). If they're members of the local Chamber of Commerce or CFIB you can report it there too.
In the future, when taking pictures, try cleaning your glass first. Pics turn out much clearer without all the water spots in front of them.

Ya sorry about that, thats the back of the tank. I dont clean as often as i should because i dont notice the rear as much. But ya i spoke to the manager and it was a mistake, they forgot to change the name on the glass and the employee i spoke to was from reptile dept so he had no idea what he was saying. So im keeping my new senegal. Would it hit about 5/6" in a 10g tank? I keep a 12' Oscar fish in my 90g which is where ill move the bichir. The oscar is docile, but he will eat anything he can attempt to fit in his mouth. Being 1.5" im sure id basically be giving him a $10 feeder. So how fast and how big can this thing get in a 10g? Im fedding it bloodworms+hikari massivore

did you get some of your money back?

That oscar is going to eat that bichir if you put them together. The sen looks like a big worm to it!

I used to have a snakehead in there and he never went after it :s. But if i put the sen in when its at 6" wont the oscar leave it alone? Its over half its size

With good food and frequent water changes, they have been know to grow close to 1" per month. Being captive bred, you may see slower growth, but you should be able to hit half an inch per month. Don't underestimate what an oscar will try and fit into its mouth. They're incredibly cavernous.
