Polypterus or Clown Knife?

I love both fishes and plan on getting both (some endlis and a couple of clown knives)! I love jurrasic fishes and select more fish by movement and shape to make a truly awesome display. If I had preference according with what you have now I would lean toward the clown knife.

Instead of a CK,look into a Papirocranus Afer-African Featherfin Knifefish,very much if not more beautiful than a clown knife IMHO.

I like the clown knife better, but if you choose a bichir, I would choose an ornate. I would stay away from endli and congo bichirs because of your clown loaches. Large lower jaw species eat bigger fish than upper jaw species like the ornate and may try and eat your CLs kill both themselves and the loach.
