She ate 3 pieces. I watched her. I usually feed 2 times a week. Should I do smaller meals daily or every other. Shes acting fine. Was stuck under the rock. Lol

Vettech - the ornate looks abnormal. I personally haven't dealt with bloat but it sure looks like it. There's a strong possibility it may need to be treated in a separate tank with Epsom salt or at least monitored. I included

She looks like this every time that she eats. After a few days it goes down. That was the whole reason behind this post. I thought originally she was over eating but this time she was limited.
Its 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons, if you have 55 gallons i suggest put 2 tablespoon epsom salt to equal 10 gallons everyday. Then do a water 20% water change the next day. Then repeat the process for 3-4 days. I didthat when my oscars was bloated and when my sen got infection.

I hope Queen B issue gets resolved with the Epsom salt. 
I wouod try and soak pellets in an epsom salt and distilled water solution. I do 1 tsp to 3/4 cup of distilled water. You can use a dropper or even the tip of your finger to soak the pellets.
I use a syringe....fill it with some pellets then suck up some of the solution, cover the end with your finger and pull the syringe some more this will cause all the air out of the pellets

I'm still having a hard time getting her to eat pellets so I don't think this will work. She really is a pain in my butt!
