I rang them this morning they apologised and said they will ship the correct fish for next friday but I can't send the lapardei back as they are an online store so stuck with a 1 eyed deformed fish lets see if they send the correct fish.
 
yes I was thinking with the deformities may end up being stunted at the moment it is swiming around I may keep it .Buying online is becoming popular but these are the problems with buying what you can't pick.

Unfortunately it's a problem here as well. Never had that problem years ago before online shopping like you stated because you could see the fish at the lfs.
Great to hear that your getting your Teugelsi.
 
I will update the thread when it arrives any bets on it not being teug and something else.
 
I may well keep it t is a grow out tank now hasn't eaten yet I will see what I get on friday hopefully I will get what I ordered can't put the lap in a bigger tank as it will be lunch it is skinny enough for my smallest senegal to eat let alone my ornate.

Saw the bit the lap being inbred but I think it is wild caught. Since friday I have tried feeding it I tried frozen blood worms frozen white schrimp broken massivore pelet it didn't touch any I was surprised about the blood worms and white schrimp not being touched .So just now I cut a live earth worm in half and dropped half into the tank the lap immediately attacked the worm several times before eating it dropped the other half in and the same thing again so could be a challenge feeding this lap if I keep it as it only seems to want live food to eat.
