Nah..I moved in really close for that shot and he usually bolts off when I do.This time he was as still as a twig but the shot came out crappy....I will try for better shots later.

so the fish came in really nice. He has settled in but not eating yet. What are people feeding these guys? I have tried pellets and scallops and krill. Think tonight I will try shrimp. He is a very inquisitive fish

Mine rarely eats out in the open where I can observe it.In fact it only eats ate night these days as any food I drop in tends to sit there on the bottom and is usually gone by the next morning ...Mine gets a rotation of raw shrimp and tilapia with live minnow treat here and there.

I got mine from Jojo about a year ago and it is doing fine.It is close to a foot in length and it has developed much more spots on its body from a year ago.It does not bother other fish but it has quite a bit more growing to do and that may change when it is bigger.

Did he say if it was a trade in or imported? I traded in 2 p. afer to aquaworld a little over a year ago. It would be crazy if one of my guys ended up in your tank. In other news I fell in love with them again so i bought another p. afer at 5-6"... I wish I never got rid of them in the first place. I dont remember mine eating a whole lot. I want to make this guy grow faster.

This guy is an import. I underestimated how aggressive he is. Put him in with my lei arowana and he messed up the aro. Moved aro to a new tank. If he doesn't bounce back I am going to be furious.
