how big was the lei? They get pretty aggressive. I traded my old ones before they did any damage. The one I have is a small runt compared to my other fish in the tank. I dont think he'll ever be big enough to cause problems with my bichirs especially as they grow.

Mike,I'm not sure if my afer was one of yours or not as I don't recall Jojo mentioning it being a trade in.It'd be nice if it were yours previously.I have a few dats that have made their way to different owners up and down the east coast...Charney,sorry to hear about your lei and hope it recovers.
Thanks he is eating as aggressive as ever. Just hope his fins grow back in nicely. They were flawless before, but now just tatters.
You already know but time and keeping it in good clean water is pretty much all you can do for now.
