  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
"That's what stock tanks and patio's are for....."

Haha yaa i got a kiddie pool, about 600 gallons and i will be getting some more small koi from another show thats coming up soon.

"Pacus are notorious liner biters...It could be filleted and feed to the RTC
Just Kidding, Pacus are way to tasty to feed to the others."

Lol ive heard this before I hope he dosent bite through mine.

"The problem with putting them in the pond is where to house them next winter when the cat is over 2 foot and the Pacu is 10 lbs.? A 220 has the same footprint as the 180, that will buy a little time. Do you have a basement? many stock tank options for the cat."

I have a 600 gallon intex pool and hopefully in the winter when its cold ill be able to put that in the garage for them, thanks everyone for the info. I just want them to have the space that they need and i think the pond is the best option, especially during the summer.

I wonder if you can have pacus and oscars with KOI. Can they be kept together.

If the pond is bare liner i don't recommend it... definitely need a substrate cause pacu end up blending in with the black liner and you never see them except at feeding time

water is in, ill be posting pics soon, waiting for it to clear up a lil bit more. also my water temps are 69 degrees so some of my tropical fish will be going in soon if the temps can be maintained above 70

I put water in 4 days ago, but its not clearing up as fast as I would like. Ill let the pictures show you how far its come. Sorry everything is dirty, it will be cleaned up when i show everything done.

Where do you keep them? is it outdoors in a pond or something else? I would love to see pictures of your setup.

I had the Oscars indoors in my Fl room. It is a 16ft x 2ft x2ft pond. I had to move the Koi inside to to the birds eating them for lunch. I have pictures posted here somewhere. Let me see if I can find them.

You can see pictures in this link
