Cool build! What kind of fish are you planning to keep in there?

Looks like it'll be receiving plenty of sunlight, so the water will probably be green from the algae. Do you plan to have plenty of floating plants to provide some shade for the fish and help keep the algae under control?

Okay. The major build part is done. The pond is filled now. Landscaping is remaining to be done within the next 3-4 weeks. I've attached a few pictures.
I don't anticipate any algae problems because the water is flowing through continuously, but lotus leaves will cover most of the water surface. Planning to put few lotus plants in the pond and some nice covering plants on the boarder.
No fish in yet, probably will add that in a week or two.

looks amazing. what are you planning to stock it with?
Thanks. I want this to be a home for my peacock bass when they get close to 24" (currently they are 8"). However watching them from top is not going to show their real beauty. I guess I'll add few koi too. Would like to put a silver arowana too but don't know whether it will jump out trying to catch a fly or something on the boarder.

The pond is approximately 4500 gallons.

Did you add your fish yet? And I guess it is okay if you have a large silver aro and cover the pond with mesh when you aren't looking at it but make sure to keep the mesh pinned on the ground covering the pond when you are gone or then your aro might be gone.

Here are some new pictures of my pond. The plants are growing and I've added fish. 4 Koi and 2 Oscars. Will add some more fish as time goes by. The water fall you see on the pictures is the fresh water coming in from the stream. There is an outlet at the other end for overflow. The new water supply is 24 X 7. No filters.
