Okay so i was thinking of getting those swimming pools you would find at like family stores the inflatable ones that are blue for swimming. I was think of maybe getting one That would be 2500 gallons for my fish. Sowould it be a good idea? What filter would i need to maintain it clean?heater too. I was planning on putting in a:
Pacu 19"
Paroon 4"(once bigger like 2 ft)
ID shark 8"
Bala shark 8"
2 koi 9"(both)
2 sucker fish 7" & 10"
Giant gourami 10"
Plus i may buy lots of big clown loach for schooling but not likely

Don't get those kinds get the above ground pools (intex brand) with the pillers that hold it up for support much easier. Easy to setup and easy to maintain then having to fill it up with air all the time.

Personally I probly wouldn't cut a hole in it for a window. I'm not sure what that pool is made of but I would think you could cut a hole and then get a heavy clear plastic and rubber cement it in or something...but I would be worried of that thing leaking or that window blowing out...plus if you got a warranty on the pool I'm pretty sure cutting a hole in the side would void that...if only there was one that was clear you could get

Iv been kicking around the idea on building a 2k gallon ply build and heating the water got brought up, I think they were saying an inline gas or electric water heater. I would also build a small wind generator to help with the electric bill lol

Wow gas....i think that could work but not like electirc one, could raise the chances of getting shocked by yea i have seen solar panels to power things like that for 300 and up. Well whats the biggest heater you can purchase for the largest aquarium that tey will sell you?

The filters they give you are useless I've made a temp pond with an index before I wouldn't add a glass view, there wouldnt be any support. index pool liners are very thin but very strong maybe a member could chime in and help you build a window in there.
