pool filter sand or play sand?

whats better? ive had sand bottoms before but it was with this ridiculously expensive stuff. i want to do a sand bottom on my 220

I used just play sand bro I dont think it matters of which one but play sand is the cheapest

yeah, the 220's glass, and i wish i lived on the beach, lol. i remeber somone sayin something about play sand being to fine.

I just started a thread about this the other day and was told to use pool sand b/c it's not as fine as play sand. my local pool supply store has 50lb bags for $10.99

this may sound stupid, but we sell quickrete sand, it looks like its from the river, i really like it, but i dont think itll work.where can i get pool filter sand?
