Remove it asap. IMO I don't even mess around with rays if I can't afford good sand go with bare bottom. I know anything with silica won't work and I had one tank that I think was some sort of made-for aquarium sand and even that stuck to rays. Just my .02.

Don't feel bad. I had 200lbs of silica pool filter sand to remove from a tank after not knowing better. Sucks. On stuff like this I normally would say try it out but rays are touchy and expensive so again to me remove it. But your tank.

ill stick with bare bottom and small gravel

must be... Still Estes works great.

BUT...., its alittle pricey and it only comes in rather un natural colors...., I have been using the white sand for a while..., it works well...., sticks a little bit....., but i just wish they had a color other than white and black.., maybe a tan or brown....

i use pool filter sand, i dont have rays tho, but its awesome, and the python doesnt suck it up, yet it doesnt get stuck in the filters. I do change the sand regular tho because it turns black after so long

damn i just bought this sand also
:[

I dont have the rays with me anyway
