My sister had two F3 bengal's... one passed due to cancer, but i must say if the larger species are anything like their smaller counterparts i would be a little be worried about having them around small children / small pets, only because they can be quite unpredictable at times.... like the one thats still alive today has tendency to hide around the corner and pounce on a person as they walk by grabbing on with its claws and trying to bite the person... while the one that passed away kept pretty much to itself most of the time and would hide every time some one new came over, although in comparison he was a heck of a lot more chill than the other...

hahahaha, i just found that site last night!! i posted a link for it in the lounge. lol.
Yeah he is awesome!!

im after the servals. he occationally gets good recent captives. so first generation captives!! WOOT!! which means i possibly could get a monster(servals top out around 40 lbs normally, but have been found up to 55 lbs) that is what im after!! i might have to find an appropriate facility to get the 2 years i need for my permit :)

I had one 5 years ago, you can get them for about 1500 now. look in a magazine called "animal finders guide". They are not endangered here in Washington state all you need is to have USDA look at your caging. I will try to fing some pics tonight. Ours was a female we had for about a year she was confiscated from some one in our state and we kept her until a zoo took her. She was very friendly and had a good disposition ( aliitle aggressive during play time). We also had a Caracal for a while totally different cat very territorial and posessive. If you google "animal finders guide" you will see probably 15-20 breeders. The last issue had kittens for sale in Florida and Indiana. Jeff

A place in gatlinburg had a couple young ones last time I was in there. Google Gatlinburg exotic pets, I'm sure it'll pop up.

cool!! TY!! i found a guy buy they are a bit high from him. I found(and the help of someone else) a oddity in PA's law. the law basicly says i cant have it without a permit(which is a difficult process) but then we found this

Unlawful acts.--It is unlawful for any person to:

(1) Import into this Commonwealth, possess, buy, sell, locate or find for a fee, barter, donate, give away or otherwise dispose of more than ... one animal classified as exotic wildlife in any calendar year without first securing a permit issued under this section.

kinda confusing. I think in short though im gonna have to get the permit first. cage is easy enough to build. its just the 2 years thats the problem.
