Poorman's Monster Fish Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Stump looks great! It’ll be cool to observe his pattern as he/she grows!
Any interaction with the playground toys as yet?
The little fella is too small to move stuff yet, and I removed all toys for now until he learns to eat when fed. Stump eats it off the bottom, eventually.

Leave him a piece or two (the buckets) to go for a comfort zone. He'll find his spots! Babies like a safety area. Once they get bigger they move stuff around. Or another vine crunched up he can tuck under.

Nice pattern! It will be fun to see how it changes.

On the big vine he found a big leaf he favors when he is not exploring the whole tank. Now that he has learned to feed in the same spot, I will add some stuff back. Thanks.

Well, STUMP Rules! I have not messed with him at all. I have just fed him and let him rules the tank. Well, STUMP was prowling around the tank and I had water spots on the front glass, so I got two paper towels, one wet, one dray and I cleaned the glass. I thought he would run to hide behind his favorite leaf. But he was chasing my hand around. I am happy he has a little attitude and in one week, he has taken ownership of HIS TANK!
STUMP was almost all black along his top, until I put a camera in his face. He faced the camera and stared at it all cross-eyed and when he turned sideways her had turned white t match the sand I guess. I put a few toys back into the tank today.
