LOL. I seriously never knew people called it soda or coke for that matter. Maybe a few here and there but not whole states, lol. I guess it's ok, I mean if your from the 20's. LOL jk

Everyone I know on a daily basis calls it coke or the brand of the pop. I've only heard soda on a few occasions.

I think a better poll is who says pop and who says soda, no one here in FL knows pop but when I go up north to Niagara falls NY no one understands soda lol.

If you watch some older tv shows they always say things like "Let's go down to the soda fountain" or even calling it "soda pop". I think it's just one of those regional things. Which is actually funny because I grew up calling it pop, however my wife who grew up all of ten miles from me hates it because she only calls it soda or by whatever brand name she wants. It's just one of those goofy cultural differences. But I actually here people call it all 3 of those things coke, pop, and soda. And Drinking I think only means one thing anywhere, that it's time to tie one on and start with the alcohol or beer or anything that can alter my reality for a while.
