Sorry to hear of your loss, I have a golden guy my pride, love to show him off to anybody who enters my place, have even managed to teach him to jump upto the slit in the hood to take his food from my hand. he freaks on mince beef heart, I also feed him Azoo arrowana Sticks, will post his photo as soon as I figure how to do it.

dude, thanks to this thread i finally found out why 3 of my arrows died. I only fed them the Futian FD Shrimp, and i stopped breaking off the spikes on the shrimp after my arrows got bigger. Several months after that they all stopped eating anything, and in a few days they died one by one. I used to think that my g/f put something in my tank cause she dont like arrows, but im pretty damn sure it was the FD shrimp. Thank you. Miss having these arrows, but this only means raising them up again. :headbang2

WTF!!! I feed all my fizh fd shrimp made by (rainbowfish) including my big jar.
ya i've been poked 2 many of times but never really gave it a second thought. now does this only affect aro's? and if so why not other fizhes? but alot of people who owns FH's swear by this stuff! and never really heard of any casualties caused by this lil shrimp.Wow i guess im gonna have 2 start breaking the heads off b4 feeding 2b on da safe side.

O my O my O my I have been completely oblivious to this what I will call a phenomenon!! I have been feed my silver aro krill when I first got it at 5" so i guess maybe im lucky I always soak them in warm water for at least 5 min. I started feeding them feeders and am now feeding it feeder goldfish.....MY MAIN CONCERN...From what you all have described do you think I have to worry about the fins on the goldfish????? My next concern I was recently going to start feeding mice as I have seen on youtube.com but decided it would be a waste of money if she didn't eat them I was going to go with frozen mice but have seen people feed live mice wouldn't this pose as more of a problem than a spike on a shrimp??? seeing as a live mouse scratching around inside stomach with nails?? If so how come nobody has mentioned this? It seems plenty of people feed mice to aro's...my next question if I feed mice that are frozen and cut of feet after dethawing do you think this would be ok? what about teeth or bones would these pose a threat as well, should i cut off head too??? a moment of silence for all the fallen aro's.............THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME AWARE OF THIS knowledge is a powerful tool!!! The more I read here the more I am convinced MFK's brings the most responsible people on this planet together for the greater good of us all!

I will be removing heads and tails from krill, from now on. Just to be safe.

And my little 2" tiger just ate a krill head last night...I hope he'll b ok.

Thanks
