Nice NTT! I agree with ade, all 3 of mine have that slight bar.

Hey i sort of need some advice, the dat is breathing really hard now and is laying at the bottom of the tank. Is it cause he's getting used to my tank or something? If not, what could i do to help it out?

I looked closer and the dat has some sort of white mucus looking stuff in its mouth along with gills. Any advice as to what i could do? Here are two pics maybe im just paranoid.

Yeah this isnt going to well, i got its breathing to calm down a bit but now its scrapped its scales on driftwood and sort of has some cuts. Damn i didnt think it was gonna turn out to be like this.

Oh dear. Rapid heavy breathing and u say it's scratching itself is not a good sign. Can't comment about mucus in mouth.
If it's gone from acting normal to this behaviour very suddenly and your really worried u can do 2 things....
1. Take it back to shop and ask 4 refund.,say it is showing signs of possible gill flukes
2. Keep it and see what happens..u can add salt and up temp to 88-90. Remember after
A Tiger has eaten will will seem like heavy breathing, where they never close there mouth properly for several hours ....whilst they are digesting food..also some new tigers will lay on side in corner of tank when In new environment.

Bummer that your fish is showing signs of what a few of my NTT's did. I lost many due from rapid breathing from gill flukes.:nilly::nilly::nilly:

I wont be able to get a refund from the shop since they have a no exchange/refund policy. Iv already added salt and raised the temp a bit, kind of worried since i raised the temp he wont be getting enough O2. Do you think i should treat for gill flukes or should i wait a bit to actually make sure it is that. He also has not eaten anything so far so i dont think thats why he was breathing heavy. I added a air stone and also moved the spray bar around so it would get more O2 into the water so his breathing calmed down alot. Any advice would be great and thanks in advance.
