If I were you, I'd get some black sand, black the sides and back out, get some long, low, dark driftwood and plant some swords that he could cruz through...
With such a beauty why risk any damage or aillment or extra bio-load?

i agree. you have a once in a lifetime fish. why risk screwing this up.
 
I use a single Angelfish as a nanny. Get the biggest angel and smallest Aro you can, they grow up to be friends. I'm on Aro #3, They all seem to be calmed by the Angels. I haven't ever seen any of my Aro's look like they were going to eat their buddies.......yet........at 16"
