ok, i have my own thoughts on this, so i want to hear what some of u guys think.
i got my rhom from a pick of 4 that had been imported to my lfs, he was the slightly bigger and more dominant of the 4, and had no nips or fins missing, where the other 3 did. heres the thing.... my lfs cant get rid of the 3 they have left, they are kept in a small tank about 1.5ft long with just a piece of bog wood in. they have barely grown, all still between 1.5"-2" where mine has grown to 3.5"-4". BUT these 3 have not killed each other while living in such a small tank together, they have nipped each other, but no more than the red bellies that my lfs keep, probly coz they dont feed them enough.
so do u guys reckon they could possibly learn to tolerate each other since they have been together in the same tank since babies??
also, if i put them in with my rhom, do u think either they, or ron will be killed?
i personally think it may work, and if it did it would be very unique, who else got a shoal of rhom??? lol
i only thought about this as i read that in the wild, although generally rhoms are lone predators, they are 'sometimes' seen in small shoals.
do u think its worth a shot?
