hmmm well the "tank" is a hippo tank at a zoo, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-30k gallons. nice tank is kind of an understatement. and no it wasnt leaking it had been raining the night before. you can see my wife in the reflection of one of the pics with here furry hood up cause it was only about 40 degrees.

Ten or ten thousand gallons its still a tank,glad it wasnt a leak though.It reminds me of an African display tank at the Adventure Aquarium in New Jersey it has some of the biggest venustus I have ever seen and a few hippos.
 
This is NOT any kind of carp or chalceus. Being that they are with AFRICAN hippos, and AFRICAN buttikoferi, my guess is that it is some sort of AFRICAN characin. What ever it is I am totally digging it! I want to know more!
