Of course my Oscar would not cooperate for the picture so I did the best I could at getting his fin. Does it look like the beginning stages of fin rot?

Lol yes, I just got them on Sunday. I thought it would be funny to tell the kids that we had jelly fish then watch as they tried to figure out if they were real.

When I tested yesterday the nitrate levels were at 0 which is ideal for their habitat, I just tested again NO2 is still at 0 and NO3 looks to have raised a little possibly

Oscars are pretty hardy, but they do not do well with high nitrates. from the pic looks more like fin DMG than fin rot.

keep the water pristine and should heal up fine.
