i doubt it.
my water is 31 celcius,thats like...over 90 F i believe.
my fish grow fast.
even those that dont need to be kept in such hot water.
IMO,if that azul is so tiny,theres something wrong with it or what youre doing.

well, my kelberi is allready hitting 3.5 in an is 1in bigger then him and he was smaller then the azul at the time of arrival and the fact that i have a couple others in the same aquaria there may be more to it then meets the eye.

so then the others are all growing fine,and this guy isnt.

I have the answer! Cichlaryan has a discovered a rare azul variant. Its the dwarf Azul, exclusively found only in his tanks, max size is 3 inches! :
