Glad to see you worked on this. Havent been there in atleast a year...that area REALLY needed to be revamped...giving me a reason to go check it out :)
 
a touch pool for stingrays? it looks a little deep, will they come to the surface enough to actually see them?

No worries, we cut it from it's original 12' depth to 24".

Yes, we filled in the bottom to make it a better ray tank. Also added about 10 times the life support that the privious tank had.

Life support system started as a four pack of 6 cubic foot sand filters with a worn out pool pump for the 68,000 gallons.
Now the roughly 10,000 gallons is filtered by twin 5 hp pumps pushing four 6 cubic foot bead filters, 750 watts of Emperor Aquatics UV, RK2 protein skimmer, Dell ozone unit, 3 Aqualogic heat exchangers/chillers, 1,500 gallon freshwater top off system and 4" sterilized natural saltwater fill line - all watched by a YSI 5200.

Water is crystal clear now.
