Do you make everyone wash their hands before dipping in the tank? If not what about people with a lot of perfume or soap residue? Does the massive volume of water pretty much negate any worries along with what I can only assume is giant filtration?

Sorry if you answered this already, I kind of skimmed the thread.

A bit of volume displacement, but we also have a LOT of various forms of filtration on this thing.

Sinks will be added in the future to wash prior to and after. It just wasn't on the top of the priority list.

Added my young female spotted eagle ray this week. She's doing great!!!

Some where I do.... lemme look.

Edit: Yup. Everything was purchased from Aquatic Eco Systems.

Four bead filters (sandfilters) - the one in front is part of a bird pond filter, not the touch pool.

750 watts of UV from Emperor Aquatics (5 bulbs at 150 watts each).

Three heat exchangers to heat and cool the water (depending on the need). In the back, you can see the white make up water. We can either fill with fresh to control salinity, or mix up saltwater with Instant Ocean. Next week we'll have a line from the open system there, then sterilize with a Dell Ozone unit.

White box holds the Dell ozone unit and YSI 5200 controller to moniter water quality and various LSS parameters. Up top is an RK2 pt skimmer, which we use to inject the ozone as well. Behind that is another white container we use to degas, then it gravity feeds back into the display.

For any of you locals, we'll be live on TV from the side of the Stingray Touch Pool on WSFL's The Morning Show Friday just after 8AM. Watch and see how many times I can trip over my own words.... it's been awhile since doing live TV spots.
