my 50g: gold gourami, reg 6"pleco, 3 jelly bean B/Ps, 5 angels, one female convict for over 3 years. new addition is a midas/parrot hybrid for almost a year.

30g: senegal bichir, 4 labs, 1 peacock, 2 convicts, and 3" pleco. All doing fine except bichir had some of it's tail pulled, but growing back. About one year. Tank is going to be upgraded to 40 soon.

But it did not last so it was not the exception!!:D:D

The best tank I ever had was a 55gal. in college. It was a large barb tank with 5 aurelius barbs, 5 clown barbs, 3 green tiger barbs, 2 red tiger barbs, 3 black ruby barbs, albino sailfin pleco, 2 dwarf giraffe cats and those were the main inhabitants. Here's the kicker. I had a floating island of Water Sprite that covered atleast 1/3 of the top. On top of that island, I had 4 FW fiddler crabs living and within the plant island I had feeder guppies multiplying. The fiddlers would eat the flakes and feeders when they could catch them, and the barbs would snack on feeder guppies whenever they would venture out of their island refuge. Man I miss college. That was a great tank, loads of fun!

Sounds cool and interesting.

Hey, i know my guys are doing well, but didn't know how well. My peacock and the female lab both got eggs in their mouth. Funny thing is the peacock is by herself and don't have a mate. I think eggs are infertile though.
