Im currently breeding guppies in the same tank as my puffer. This will only last for awhile though as I am gradually increasing the salinity of the tank as my GSP grows. Sooner or later the water will no longer be compatible, but for now the fish are. Funny thing is I have had many other fish in and out of that tank that he will not tolerate.
post combinations of fish that usually don't work but yours is the exception

12" Red Oscar with Giant Danios. The danios breed but haven't had any of the fry live more than a week or so. The O hasn't eaten one of them in over a year.

wolf fish and one african cichlid. Had them both in the same tank for about two months and never even saw a bite mark on the african, even tho the african was smaller than the wolf.
