Post LFS OVER PRICED FISHs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My LFS in San Antonio had 3" freshwater lionfish/stonefish (Batrachus trispinosus) for $6.99. I was out of town, and just missed them, so I called another store in Austin-- they had them at the same size for $49.99.

Um... pass.

That's the worst thing ever-- JUST missing on a seasonal fish and then only seeing it for 7x the price.

"aquatic" plants sold at petco/petsmart for 3.99/6.99 THAT ARE NOT EVEN MEANT TO BE FULLY SUBMERGED IN A TANK!!!!!! FAIL!!!!!! biggest rip of all of these. despite being overpriced, at least the fish you know the species you're buying

Red tiger Mota cichlid at 4'' being sold for $99

Once saw neon tetras for $11 each 95% sure it was a type O on the tag but you never know
