Pet-Pourri in Everett, Wa just inherited an overweight full-grown fire eel. Easily 3 feet and could make a fishkeeper with the space very happy. Coloration is medium grade, yellowish on the fins thanks to a strict diet of excess of nothing but 4oz. scoops of blackworm every day. Still, he honestly looks rather well as he is and I imagine a light polishing and improved diet will really give him a sparkle.

I wish this guy was here, been wanting one for a while now..:(

Ain't no way I'm trying to ship a fire eel of that magnitude!

Thanks for starting this thread. Now those poor fishes have a better chance in life. Keep it up!

I see all of our petsmarts and petcos with those little blue red fishies in a tiny cup. I believe they are called baytahs, beedahs, boxing fishes, wait... I got it: Betta fighting fishes. Not monsters but need help too.

OK. Sarcasm in play up there. But on a serious note. Jeff, great thread by the way. Judging by the view counts for our NW topic, its grabbing peoples attention. Thanks for all your help by the way! (spittin out the fish knowledge)
