Dang, congratulations on raising those fry! I really hope I can get my cons to breed, and get the fry to that size. What did you feed the fry?

Im confused, I'm at the stage where I've got a bunch of brown eggs. Is their anytime during this process that I need to take the MAle out of the tank so he doesnt eat them fry like when they are wigglers are even really small free swimmers?

the male probably wont eat the fry, convicts protect their young like most cichlids

Those cons are really top notch man.....Just a tip, I had the same sponge covering my intake, and lost lots and lots of fry. They wiggle all the way through it, and then wiggle into the sponge in your filter. I was wondering why, when I serviced my filters in the weeks after fry are born, I would always have a giant one in there that had made it . Just a heads up. I went to the lfs and bought a 2.99 lil net and cut the mesh off, and rubber banded it to the intake. (nylons clog too fast and dampen intake) The net is working perfect no lost fry since.....
