Sweet eels!
 
I love the spiny eels. I'll have to dig up my pics. I have a fire eel, a couple zig zags, a tire track, a yellowtail, and a peacock.

I just picked up my peacock eel last night hes about 4 to 5 inches. I haven't seen him since this morning when he was hanging around on top of the sand. I looked away for 2 seconds and all of a sudden he was gone. If he comes out I'll try and snap a pic.
 
I got a shot of my peacock eel sorry crappy cell pic I had to move fast right after I took it he went and buried himself by my amazon sword.

finaly found where the eels are on this forum. looking to do a 75gal south/central american set up. doing sand heavy planted and plenty of caves. i want an eel that doesn't get too big. any suggestions? FYI i dont like the eels with the pointy nose. saw a "south american" moray eel at the pet shop for 15$'s . should i pick it up? message me and thnx for any help.
 
the pointy noses are spiny ells i'm pretty sure thats what your talking about

the other eel is most likely whats sold as a freshwater moray eel or a snowflake eel they need alot of salt in there water there high end brackish fish so they need about 1/2 to 3/4 salt water
