Sorry to hear about your peacock eel. Did it escape the tank?

I’ve found that spiny eels are a lot more personable than most other fish. That alone makes them a lot of fun to keep, IMO.
It escaped the tank once, but learned not to do it again. How it died, it got a pretty large wound on it's tail. Didn't make it through the day. At least peacock eels are easy to find these days.

I haven't took the time to save for a new one because I am currently working on my new 20 gallon I got for christmas.
