i dont know... i had a 18" tire track eel in my old tank with a 7" green terror, 2 6" severums, 8" royal knife, and some other stuff that i cant remember, and nobody seems to care that they are there, just give them at least one good spot to hide

I'de be most worried about the pleco, but if your knife is that aggressive i'de be wary. plecos are pretty territorial about their hidey spots and the eels like similar ones so there may be territorial disputes, and plecos seem to like the slime coat of these guys from what I hear. also depending how big your knife is a smaller eel could be food. my 3 fires are with a 5" O atm, and every now and then the O takes a bite at them. and they're all in the 12" + range. usually dureing feeding time when they go nutterz flitting around the tank, he hasn't done any damage yet. BUt if he continues to be this aggresive towards them when he gets big enough to actually do some damage to them. He's getting seperated. as for redhooks, don't know enough about them to make an educated guess as to how they would react potentially. a full rescape with more hidieng spots, and capability to move the eel into a different tank if things got bad. I'de prolly use a divider as well the first few days/week until the eel was settled in and eating.

I'll see if I can get my camera working and get some pics of them, and my TT.
