so i got a system im installing this week....2006 altima and its not gonna be fun... the guy purchased everything through crutchfield... upon looking up his car and what he bought looks like im gonna have some fun doing this... wish he would have just let me design it... but anyway its all boston acoustics... boston acoustic pro60 x2 components will replace the front speakers(gonna be fun) he also got kick plates so there will be 2 sets up front.. s95 6x9s for the deck... you should see there power 35rms 
..... single 4ohm g5 subs with matching radiators box building just got fun... (thanks pharroh for that link 
) i have never dealt with or seen them actually used in cars... home audio yes not cars... now for the amps... lets look at my nightmare now... please remember the s95 6x9s power... for mids and highs.. i get a gt4100 amp... AWESOME!!! SOME SPECS=
4-channel car amplifier
100 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (150 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
1-ohm stable in 4-channel mode (225 watts RMS x 4 at 1 ohm)
300 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms (450 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)
OH GIGGITY...
now for the subs i get a gt2200( atleast this is OK) now i was just given the entire list of all stuff in the car that needs to be done... only thing i was told at first was the subs i asked for all the specs so i could build the box and have it ready bang this out in a weekend... and this is the list im given tonight... WTF is he thinking only logical solution i can think of if he wont replace those 6x9s is wire them in series and make them 1 channel and knock the power down... im at a loss here... the amount of stupidity he put in is insane...seriously i told him some stuff to look at awhile ago... told him if money is no option to look into focal or mb quart componants... eclipse subs hertz set ups or diamond... even a full JL audio setup be great... but this is the crap thrown at me... is this a insane challenge? done ranting guess ill just try and talk to him if that dont work ill make it work

I love it when they tell the people that know how it should work. LOL
Apparently, if he is shopping at Crutchfield, then money is an issue.
