don't do it dude, I've got nothing better to do all day than follow you around posting unrelated pics in your threads.
feel free to try reposting the bug pics.

Thanks guys! I think that's the first itme I've ever seen a cicada...I didn't know they were around here...

(There I quoted you, happy? ;))

I never get to see dead ones either, but I have to believe you hear them. they sound like super-charged crickets up in the trees.

That's funny, I looked at the photo and it was taken on 7-13-07, five years ago...
hmmm, timing is everything. have you ever seen them around you recently?

Huh??

Now that you mention it...Yeah. Loud, irritating hum? I've never seen one, dead or alive. I was told that that sound was cicadas when I was a kid, but never saw any so assumed that was wrong. Guess not....

I really don't like spiders now that I saw the "ear spider" thread but do any of ya'll ever find brown recluse spiders? I find them ALL the time inside my house and out. I just found out people sell them @ $8 bucks or so a piece so I've passed up on God knows how much money. I'm gonna start jarring and storing them (I'm becoming a creap I realize as I just typed that) I'll get some pictures next time I find one. Anyone want to buy a brown recluse? - N
