I'm sure. Probably made fun of what happened and had nothing nice to say. Great guy.

I came home after a week in montauk to find all my ranchus dead. Yeah, not much of a near save!

I had an old 125 downstairs several years ago, so one morning I go down their and something just didn't look quite right. I stood there for a minute trying to figure it out. Then I suddenly realized that the front pane of glass was bowing out like a now front would. I lifted up my lids to see the big sheet of glass that holds the top together had cracked all the way through. I lowered the water until it was t noticeable and headed to the glass shop, it was a good save. Then I sold that aquarium a couple years later

Nice catch! That would've been a huge mess. Do you know if the person you sold it to had any problems with it, or did it hold?

While transferring my RTG to a larger tank I had him in a plastic bin w/ no cover. I ran outside to get something and heard my dog barking, ran back inside to find the RTG on the carpet. When I put him back in the tank he sunk to the bottom, with a few strokes he came back. The anal fin was folded and broken, when it healed it did not grow properly so I had to do some surgery and cut it down to the base. He's all good now and the fin is almost fully grown back after a second fin surgery....

Do you think cutting pillow and use the padding is a very good post?

You know him well! :grinno:

Apparently you do not realize that some pillows are stuffed with filter floss, which is the same material some of us use for mechanical filtration, he also said he was broke, so I put the 2 together actually trying to help because its obviously better then a T SHIRT, not to mention free! luckily I get enough thank you pm's, so comments like yours only make you look bad..........

Once took out a large ornament from my tank and fake tree root and put it in a garbage bag and put it away. Week later i noticed i hadnt seen my senegal poly in a while. It hits me... I go check the bag and in an inch of water left that luckily had drained out of the ornament was the poly. I guess he was in the holes of the ornament and i didnt check.

I once came home to one of my new sunfish laying on the floor. It looked like a potato chip it was so dry. I was pretty disappointed and as I picked it up I saw the smallest bit of movement in its gills so I quickly put it in the quarantine tank and added melafix. Somehow it's still alive and is doing better than ever.
