post your dogs

Lizz they are not the best guard dogs , although with their size any one not knowledgeable will think they are. These dogs ( Newfoundlanders ) originallyt were fishermen dogs.. they swim marvellously and were usaed to haul nets and cables and so on, swimming..they also have a proven track record rescuing people who are drowning..

mainly yes, they're gentle giants.

They are called stopped drafts and they are a mix in the beginning..belgianxpaint or percheronxpaint actually any draft horse crossed with a paint and then their foal crossed back to draft.. making them spotted drafts.. newest drafts in the past 5 years..
 
Some awesome dogs,
I am a fan of the flat faced dogs I really wanted to get a British Bulldog but a ended up settling with a Staffordshire Bullterrier, no regrets.

This is a Australian cross British bulldog which turned out more british but was huge! He was offered to me for adoption but I declined cause he was a menace he hadnt been trained and was a nightmare plus i could'nt do it to my dog Obie.

I love my dog and I'm gonna say it...... I would trade all my fish and fish tanks for my dog. ummmahh! :D

I loved it also until I had to look after it for a couple of weeks it has been passed from one owner to the next and wasn't trained properly or at all, he also had a few disfunctional behaviours like running head on into a path of a car. He also wouldn't listen to a word you'd say to him, its not the dogs fault he just hasnt been taught.

I tried to train him and got a little progress but in the end he was too much work I wasnt prepared to commit to it. He really was a naughty dog, you have to see his personality to be able to see.

He was an awesome looking dog looks exactly like a brittish bulldog but because hes a cross he was Huge a very stocky fat bulldog.
