Thanks for this Liz. I just love those african greys they are fantastic- i'd love to see a vid whenever you get around to it... let me know. However in the one pic, it does look like your grey is actually a ghost
Fantastic collection too Miguel!

I am working on a video.. i did a beautiful one last night of the pacu.. i am just having trouble down loading onto my pc.. i plan on calling and going through with HP some time next week so i will be able to do it.. :(

In the meantime more pics on the way..and please post all your exotic birds..:)

Lizz, you should try a Yellow Nape Amazon ( Ocrocephala Auropalliata ). They are the créme de la créme of talkers. Feisty litlle devils. Nothing compares....except, if it is talkers you want, Minahs.

i ALWAYS HEARD THE AFRICAN gray was the top of the line for speech and talking ,,, i will have to check this one out..does your african talk.. the males are better then females but if they are bonded with other birds you won't get much out of them. :D

I've had Macaws, several of them...none anymore.

People tend to say Grey 's are smarter, but they're not , imo. Of course there are very smart grey's ( perhaps even the smartest known parrot, Alex, a grey ), but in general terms I would say that the amazon Ocrocephala species ( the yellow heads, with their subspecies yellow foreheads, yellow napes, yellow heads, etc ) are the smartest parrots.
