I would love to see the fossil specimens our diverse membership may be harboring. I'll post a pic from my sticky thread to get the ball started.

This is Atractosteus strausi from the Eocene deposits of Messel, Germany.

I think you're the only one with dead fish that aren't kept in a freezer Phil. Having said that, I'd love to get a coelacanth fossil.

I dont have any fish fossils but I do fish from the largest exposed Devonian formation in the world!

Also my yard is like a coral reef, I can bend down at any place in my yard and find all kinds of corals, sponges, brachiopods, crynoids, blastoids, ect.

I REALLY want to head up to the Green River formation to do a little digging.

My best finds ever were a sea urchin in Tennessee and a tiny perfectly preserved flower in Alabama. Sadly I was really young when I was collecting fossils and lost them both during moves.
