I'm enjoying this thread

Thanks brother..

i need to open up some tank space for these beasts. gotta give props to umbeeking for bringing and breeding these beautiful umbees into the hobby

Let me know when your ready, I would love to see them in your fish room. Thanks again:)

I concur, these are some sweet umbees. Mine are pigs and grow twice as fast as any of my blues!! My biggest was just over 2" before i left for work last week. I'll post mine up when I get home this weekend. I started with 12 and I'm down to 9 due to aggression. Also they are very friendly too, every time I see them they all come to the front and top of my tank as if they wanna jump into my arms for attention lol. And yes Chris is the true umbeeking!!!! Umbee power!!!!! Cheers to the umbeeteers;)

Thank you Jason, I cant wait to see your pictures of them and yes they do grow fast! Return Home safe so we can get an Update on your batch. UMBEE POWERRR!!!

Your Gorillus offspring are looking awesome UMBEEKING! Thanks for bringing these beautiful fish into the hobby. Hopefully one day I will have the pleasure of owning one:headbang2

Thank you brother! :)

Is that the same X male that you posted on YouTube not to long ago?I'm blown away by that guy the loc. X in this pic is by far the best one I have seen. Now if they only had the rio mag profile:)

The Location X Male in the picture belongs to Ruck Fules and I must say What a specimen. I need to post a updated video or picture of my male X. His trailers are so long he drags them on the gravel behind him :) Coming SOON!

A few more pictures tonight.... the bigger 3" ones came out to feed, after all they haven't eaten in 5 hours! :)

These are from my Canon 40D (that I still haven't figured out how to use). Nothing fancy, just the flash. Not photoshopped, no fancy lighting, just amateur photography. Enjoy.... I certainly am!

Chris... I should have waited on this thread! It's hurting the sale of my Rio Mag pair(s)! :)

Really enjoyed the videos. I couldn't understand the language but I did recognize the universal sound of cries of joy when the big Umbee was being reeled in. Priceless!

In REALM OF THE UMBEE video. At 2:53 did you guys bring that one with you guys? This might be a very dumb question but is Black Umbee from the video the same thing as the Gorilla Umbee? Sorry For My Stupidity :(

Ain't that the truth..

The big black Umbee shown in REALM OF THE UMBEE did not make it out of the jungle alive. So I ate him and he was delicious :) My breeder male is a different Umbee from that location. Yes Black Umbee and Gorilla Umbee are the same. Both are trade names describing the black color variant of Caquetaia Umbriferus.:)
