AMEN to that brother! preach on... Thanks Family. How are your Gorillus doing?

Well i finally have somewhere to post these pics ive been hanging on to for the last couple of months;) lol First I would like to thank Chris and congratulate him on such an amazing feat!!!! These lil beasts are definitely a blast to keep so far. Although some say these are almost identicle to the umbees already in the hobby. there are some similarities but so far these grow twice as fast as any umbee ive ever kept, they are more social at smaller sizes, Blunter/stout face's and foreheads compared to the blues. I recieved my Apes in the begginning of May at .75-1" Now my largest is just over 3":WHOA: I started with 12 and im down to 9 due to aggression;) ive had them in a 55g tank and im getting ready to put them into a 75 for the next stage of growth. these first set of pics are when i first got them at .75-1"

The clan is doing well. Growing and wanting to eat all the time. Even the smaller .75" ones are starting to chase my HRPs around. I am glad I left the HRPs in because so far, I havent lost a single baby.

These second set of pics are one month later 6-5-12 you can see the huge growth in just one month!!!! this is where i got down to 9 from the original 12...

I guess this goes out to everyone with these Apes, are there any traits at this small size to sex them? And why are some always black and some are always white? Seems random with my group, but every seems to be just as happy as the next, i.e., doesnt seem to be behavior related. But then again, these are my first umbriferum so, what do I know.

Thoughts?

Very nice photos guys! Crimson, Surfpalms.... post your photos fellas!

My largest is nearly cresting 4". Eating like champs! Even the new additions have now followed the lead of the ones that have been established in my tank and now swimming up to the front of the tank as I walk up and begging to be fed.
