That's not what the thread is about. Feel free to post a "show your Umbee tank thread" of your own. This one won't be derailed as every other umbee thread has..

Thanks for posting the location of these beasts UMBEEKING. Hopefully those members who are always pressing you to say where they were collected will come forward with a thanks as well.

I completely agree. It's the main reason why I can't get any of them at this time. But once I have the appropriate tank I'll get a few to growout. BTW I finally saw the sale thread in the marketplace. Best of luck to Chris and to all the members that purchase these Umbees. I look forward to all of the pics to come.

Thanks Brother! but I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen:) Its all good though.... San Rafael is a beautiful place and the Black Umbee from this region is simply breath taking. I had a blast catching them bringing them back, pairing and spawning them and now making them available to the hobby. I look forward to seeing how these develop in the hands of my fellow hobbyist. So far everyone who got them are doing an excellent job with them... Thanks again
 
Kudos for posting the collection location - saw a video on Youtube of San Rafael and it looks like a beautiful place!

Were they collected in the Rio Guatapé?
