Please upgrade your tank as it is already way to small for that Nurse. I do not mean to come across as rude but that Nurse is going to get really big so hopefully you can provide it with a system large enough, somewhere in the 30,000 gallon range.

I dont get you why ppl put tanks like this on here? Dont you know your just gonna be told they suck? Its waaaay to small already so hopefully that giant lagoon you must of been making for it is just about ready.

word......

Yeah - I know it may sound like we're basically flaming you. Which really isn't the case.

It's just that Nurse Sharks are known to grow very large - at least 8-10' when fully grown. So this really isn't a shark that's suited to the vast majority of private aquarists. And as a private SW aquarist - you should have known this before getting this shark. Ultimately you will need a very large swimming pond size shark lagoon (over 20,000 gallons) just to keep this Nurse pup when it reachs adulthood.

To keep this shark for the next 3 years, I would say you need a minimum size pool/lagoon that's at least 12-15' diameter (at least 2,000-4,000 gallons) at very least- A.S.A.P.

i hate to be this guy too but i'd also like to ask you how much that stand cost? and what size the tank is?

i smell a troll

Yeah - Nurse sharks may be very cute as pups. But keeping a Nurse Pup - is like getting a Great Dane pup. They're both really cute and manageable as pups. But remember they eventually grow up to be bigger than you are. Which means they need lots of room and lots of food.
