alrighty everyone i havent came back to this post for a little bit and what a nice bashing ive walked into that tank hes in is 400gl def a little small but def 400 times better then the conditions ive found him i basically saved this beaut she was half dead when i got her and now shes more then anything she can ever be. im in the process of building a bigger something in my buddies basement where i can take even better care of here she have all the room she needs i had to move all my other fish all around and totally redo the tank just for her so ... how cruel of a person am i and do i sound incapable of owning this beautiful specimen that was put hear for all of us to admire?

You have a nurse shark in a 400 gallon tank that it can't turn around in without touching both sides..... do you really want an answer to that question? I'll be impressed when I see this claimed tank start construction let alone finish. In all honesty when anyone points out a tank is too small, the first reply is always "Oh I have a bigger tank being made" - or something similar. Truth is by the time that tank is made, it's already done damage to the animal in question. MFK sees a LOT of "I'm going to" threads and very few "Finished project" threads.

Is is just me or are we lacking threads saying "I'm wanting a __(insert fish name here)__. So over the next year or two I'm going to build and properly cycle the tank. Then go out and purchase my very own __(same fish here)__."
