Gee you were on early today LOL.

I have africans but I dislike them. I prefer Sa Ca cichlids. Setin up my tank soon, might get a JD or too, considering they are meant to be one of the more peaceful Ca cichlids? :confused:

yea they can be they nip each other every known them if bothered but thats it i reckon i have mnine with a pair of rivulatus they get picked on !! but nothing serious at all just a lil chase !!!

there pretty together actually which is good !!!

DO THEY REALLY pair up at that length??? can't be any bigger than 4/5" right?

I got 2 female and 1 male right now and the dominate female is always fighting.. please let me know if JD do breed at that length.. thanks
 
I also got another questions.. I've been noticing my EBJD acting sorta weird..

Its hiding in ordinmates and it just stops.. like its sleeping.. it still eats but just sorta stops at one cornor.

Is that normal? my ebjd is 1.5"

mine stops and goes all the time sits in the corner then in the middle
then in the drift wood chases other fish mines 3" its got big fish n littler fish with it aswell

do you have any other fish with it ?

i had a pair and they pair off when they were 3"
