Potential?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hopefully they get along when they are introduced.
I recently removed my divider and am blessed to have my pair creating a bond.

In my opinion put a mirror on the females side. The tougher she is the better chance with them getting along. Thoughts anyone?

Start your own thread. You are hijacking someone else's which takes things off track.

I removed the divider last night and everything is going well so far. A lot of showing off and tail whipping back and forth but no real agression other than a few small nips here and there. Added some hiding spots the female can get to that the male can not in case things go south while I'm not home. I'll keep you guys updated and let's pray this guy does not shoot blanks lol

Well.... good news and bad news. Worked a 12 today and came home to find my male got his kok tore up... not sure if he got it from trying to get to her or if she did it. Not a single torn fin though which is weird. She has some minimal torn fins. But on the bright side she's already laying eggs and he's following behind fertilizing them. Looks like I'm doing an extra water change and will add a little salt to the water =\ might remove him once the eggs are fertilized. They're kind of in a difficult spot for him to get to because of his kok. They must have just started spawning because there's only 20 or so eggs so far

Well.... solved one of the problems. Trimmed the driftwood with a pair of garden loppers. Only got bit about a dozen times lol

Hey Brandon, any chance you could remove the driftwood? Or is that where your female hides?

My male did the same. So I rearranged for more open space.
