Pothos Question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
F FMA4ME any reduction in nitrates ?

Actually I don't know. I've decided to rehome my Discus and most of my Angel Fish. (Going to try something else)All I have now is some tetras and a few small catfish. So I haven't really looked at my water quality. I'm ordering fish next week, so I'll have a better idea of what is going on.

When I trim my pothos roots, I normally cut them in half length-wise. If I left them unchecked, they would be 4' long in a few months HAHA.

Ah ha!!! We have a trimmer!! I'm happy trimming half. It's really not bad yet, thanks shook!!

That's insane! I had a problem with my fish pulling on the roots and dragging the entire plant into the tank where my silver dollars would devour them. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that pothos are harmful if consumed (at least by cats and dogs) so I didn't want to risk it.

South Florida is full of giant pothos this like those, I wonder if it's a diff type of regular pothos in optimum growing condition.
