During fish fights, there are a couple of things that are important if a certain fish wants to win. These are agility, weapons (teeth and jaws), aggressiveness, and fighting skills. I think that, if all freshwater fish fought at the same size, the mbuna Telmatochromis Dhonti would beat all others with ease. First off, it, like all other mbunas, is very agile and fast. Also, if you have ever kept one, the dhonti has huge jaws and one of the most powerful bite forces for its size. It is one of the most aggressive fish, and ranks #3 on mattimeos (chiclidmadness) list of the top cichlids. To top it off, because this mbuna has natural fighting instincts caused by territory disputes in the wild, it could beat other powerful and aggressive fish of the same size (Gatf, rhombs, chana)
