With all things considered, pound for pound it's gotta be the Fahaka Puffer. I've own snakeheads, wolfish, gars, triggers, chichlids of all sorts and after observing all these fish, there is absolutely nothing more fearless then a Fahaka. Fahakas have a bone crushing bite, they are the most creative swimmers and are absolutely relentless. A Fahaka can attack from many different angles and is not limited to head on conflict. As a fail safe the Fahaka tastes terrible to those who bite it and has the added advantage of puffing out if in serious trouble. Fahaka hands down guys.

x2 (plus even if eaten they die from the puffers poison)

If a 4foot Otter cant even kill it outside water then no way any snakehead, wolffish etc does it

Pound for pound.... must be the idiot below

I saw that feeder fish, go inside the dovii mouth and bit the dovii and then forcefully open the doviis mouth and swam out :headbang2

From personal experience ive had a midas kill a rom a rom kill a micropeltes a micropeltes kill a midas but have never had anything kill a wolf but i would never discount a puffer

I would say fahaka too. I owned one was 10" and it killed my 14" red devil which was the king of my tank for 11 years before I put fahaka with him.

Similar thing with myself except it took out dovii, jag plus many other fish in 1 night :/

The adult electric catfish its strong too.

Pigilistic and territorial, with bad character, 3 feet, 30 lbs, and electric discharges of 300-350 volts, and can eat a oscar

adult malapterurus electricus not microstoma or oter of the 22 species of electric catfish....

http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=2087

of one a 1 lb a one of 45lb the electric discharge it should not vary something, each inch adiere a lot of mass and in you finish them inches they are almost added all the pounds, more mass more electriciti

Its considered incompatible with other fishes for diverses fonts, or at least without appropriate tankmates

But i bet for an hidrolicus armatus in some combats:naughty:

Snakeheads and bowfin are nasty and tough as nails. But, the undisputed KING of freshwater is the MUSKIE!! The most vicious and aggressive of ALL freshwater predators. They will bite anything, even people. I've caught all kinds of fish and nothing comes close. MUSKIES... all other fish are just bait!!!

exodons are some of the most aggressive tough fish ive ever seen. they are definitely not monsters, but pound for pound, they are tough.
